Founded on May 1, 1958, China Central Television (CCTV for short) is the national television station of the People's Republic of China and a state-level deputy ministerial institution. An organization guiding China’s news and public opinion, which plays a vital role in China’s ideology and culture, the CCTV serves various functions such as news communication, social education, cultural entertainment, and information services.
DPtech's Application Delivery Platform has been included in CCTV Blu-ray emergency broadcasting system and equipment supplement project of 20 sets of HD systems. At present, the 20 sets of HD automatic broadcasting systems and the new media service system in the CCTV have been working stably for 700 + days and 600 days, respectively.
