Recently, DPtech was awarded the network and security device procurement project for the National Healthcare Security Administration, products involved including DPtech's high-end DPX17000 frame firewall and FW1000 10G firewall. By working with this project, DPtech helped the National Healthcare Security Administration build a high-standard nationwide medical security information system that is unified, efficient, compatible and safe.
In March 2018, the first Session of the 13th National People's Congress adopted a resolution on establishment of the National Healthcare Security Administration as part of the institutional reform plan of the State Council in order to promote the linkage reform of medical service, medical insurance, and medicine. The National Healthcare Security Administration (NHSA) was formally founded at the end of May of the same year.
The National Healthcare Security Information Platform (hereinafter “the Platform”) serves as a vital public service system, offering services to nearly 1.4 billion people in China. It covers 3,260 medical insurance agencies, 120,000 medical insurance staff at all levels, 990,000 medical institutions, 500,000 pharmacies, 7,600 drug manufacturers, 26,000 medical consumables manufacturers, and 30 million participating companies. The primary concern of NHSA is to build a high-standard nationwide medical security information system that is unified, efficient, compatible and safe.
▌ Security protection would never compromise performance
Thanks to high performance, high reliability, and high convergence capabilities, DPtech firewalls have been widely used in the egress of data centers of several national ministries and commissions, including the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Finance, the General Administration of Customs, the Ministry of Water Resources, the Ministry of Science and Technology, and the Ministry of Environmental Protection. In building the Platform, DPtech firewalls were deployed in key nodes such as the egress of data centers and regional borders in large scale, providing 120G secure processing capabilities as a single board. In addition, DPtech firewall guarantees uninterrupted operation for customers through dual-system hot standby, redundancy and hot-plug of key components (master control, power supply, service board, service interface), N+1 service board redundancy, and innovative application Bypass technology.
▌ Integrated deployment of multiple security services enables simplified management
DPtech, as the first domestic security vendor providing deep service convergence of L2~7, provides a wide array of service expansion capabilities through a number of service modules including application firewall, IPS, traffic control, UAG, application delivery, anti-DDoS, and WAF. All service modules of a single device can be managed on a unified IP-based platform, thus making it simple to access network. The original N:M virtualization technology can realize virtualization by integrating N devices into a resource pool, which is then divided into M logical devices as needed to achieve dynamic scheduling of resource pools in a cloud computing environment.
