LSW3600 Series
LSW3600 Series
DPtech LSW3600 Series Switches are the next generation high-performance Ethernet switches presented by DPtech. Based on DPtech’s leading high performance hardware architecture and unified ConPlat operating system, this Series is provided with high density Ethernet interfaces and multiple access security management features. Equipped with highly reliable technologies including g PoE (Power over Ethernet) and FRRP fast ring network recovery protocol, it can fully meet the needs of multiple application scenarios such as campus convergence, access and Gigabit to Desktop. In addition, it provides environmentally-enhanced designs, including environmental monitoring and a wide range of operating temperature between 0 - 70℃, helping users save maintenance costs, simplify network management and create a green and low-carbon network utilization.
MoreWith flexible 24/48 100M or Gigabit access, the LSW3600 Series is compatible with non-multiplexed
SFP interfaces to enable high density 100M and Gigabit access and protect users’ investment.
The LSW3600 Series supports multicast protocols such as IGMP, IGMP Snooping and GMRP to satisfy the requirements of IP HD video surveillance and other multicast services.
Compatible with fast ring network recovery (FRRP) protocol and fast link recovery protocol (FLRP), the LSW3600 Series provides a self-recovery performance of less than 20 milliseconds in applications that are prone to lose packets, such as video conferencing and IP HD video surveillance. Multiple services and heavy traffic will have no impact on convergence time, thus ensuring the normal business operation.
It uses PoE (Power over Ethernet) technology to remotely supply power to connected devices (such as IP HD cameras, wireless AP, etc.) through the Ethernet, eliminating the need of deploying separated power supplies on site and greatly reducing the wiring and management costs of terminals.
To satisfy the deployment requirements in different environments, the LSW3600 Series adopts an environment-enhanced design, which provides features such as a wide range of operating temperature and pressure, and lightning protection. This helps ensure highly reliable operation in complex electrical environments (e.g., corridor equipment room) and air-conditioning free deployment environments.
With low-power consumption hardware and optimized heat dissipation designs of air ducts and component layout, the LSW3600 Series ensures fully controllable power consumption. Besides, thanks to running status and environment monitoring, it can make adjustment to fan, interface, PoE power supply and other statuses to reduce energy consumption in accordance with ambient temperature, time period and other operating conditions. A number of statuses and alarms can be provided, including environmental alarms, power supply and fan alarms, interface, and CPU status.
By combining TAC (Terminal Access Control) and the back-end system, the LSW3600 Series integrates terminal security measures (such as Antivirus and patch fix) and network security measures (such as network access control and access permission control) to build an interacted security system. Through inspection, isolation, fix, management and monitoring of network access terminals, the entire network is upgraded from a passive defense to an active defense, a single point of defense to a comprehensive defense, and a decentralized management to a centralized management, improving the overall defense capabilities of the network.
LSW3600 Series provides multiple authentication modes based on MAC address, 802.1x, and Portal. With a built-in authentication server, it supports local access authentication for 256 to 512 users. It supports dynamic or static binding of user identity, such as user account, IP, MAC, VLAN, and interface. Dynamic distribution of policies is supported. In conjunction with UMC centralized network management platform from DPtech, real-time management of online users can be realized.
The LSW3600 Series is provided with enhanced ACL rules by supporting large-capacity ingress and egress ACLs. It also enables ACL distribution based on VLAN, which simplifies user configuration and avoids waste of ACL resources.
The LSW3600 Series supports traffic identification on interfaces. It provides multiple stream classifications based on source MAC address, destination MAC address, source IP address, destination IP address, TCP/UDP port number, protocol type, and VLAN. With priority queues based on hardware, it is compatible with multiple queue scheduling algorithms such as SP, WRR, and SP+WPP. Support congestion management and rate limits on interfaces.
